Sleep Jersey Guarantee Terms and Conditions
At Sleep Jersey, we are extremely proud of our exceptionally high-quality mattresses, divans, bed frames, headboards, and accessories. The products sold by us are all made by hand, using some of the best materials available.
For all our products, including mattresses, divans, bed frames and accessories, the manufacturing guarantee covers the product against faulty workmanship and materials only. The guarantee does not extend to cover normal wear and tear.
The manufacturers guarantees start at 2 years and ascend to 30 years for ultimate peace of mind. Please note that due to model revisions, certain ranges may have different lengths of guarantee dependant on which version of the model was purchased. Please contact us if you require any assistance identifying your model.
Each product range has a specified guarantee length which is outlined in the table below:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
After inspection by ourselves or qualified technician, if it is determined that an issue with the product be the result of faulty materials or workmanship, Sleep Jersey will take action to either repair or replace the product free of charge. We assess each case individually taking the correct decision for each issue, dependent on the nature of the fault. The original product will need to be packaged well to avoid any transit damage and returned to Sleep Jersey, received in a clean satisfactory condition without any stains or damage.
The following rules apply:
- The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear
- The guarantee applies to products purchased directly from Sleep Jersey only
- The product must remain in Jersey, Channel Islands
- The guarantee is only available to the person who first purchased the product directly from Sleep Jersey and does not apply to products subsequently sold second hand or gifted
- The guarantee is strictly not transferrable
- The request should be made by the purchaser of the product in writing to Sleep Jersey within a reasonable time of the issue arising
- The purchaser will need to show proof of purchase
- The guarantee does not cover professional cleaning that may take place on the product causing damage
If the model specification has been discontinued from the range, and needs to be replaced rather than repaired, Sleep Jersey reserves the right to replace with the nearest equivalent model within the current range. Similarly, if a fabric has been discontinued, Sleep Jersey reserves the right to supply a choice of the nearest equivalent colour and texture for the customer to select.
The customer must have cared for the product following the care, washing, and cleaning instructions. If this has not been followed, the guarantee will become invalid.
If the goods have been damaged, whether deliberately or accidentally or if the product is in a dirty and unsanitary condition, the guarantee will become invalid.
In the case of a mattress only, this product must have been placed on a good quality base or slatted system that is able to take the weight of the mattress and that the gaps between the slats are no more than 7.5cm apart.
The guarantee begins on the date of delivery to the customer’s home and calculated from that date.
In the event a repair has been made on the product, the Sleep Jersey guarantee will continue to be current until expiry.
IMPORTANT: Failure to comply with the above will invalidate your Sleep Jersey guarantee.
Mattress Care Recommendations
We recommend turning your mattress twice a month for the first 3 months and with the seasons after that.
Please turn side to side on the first occasion and head to toe on the next turn for full rotation. More frequent turning in the beginning allows the brand-new fillings to settle evenly under our body weight.
Subsequent turning helps to elongate the life of the mattress and keep it in tip top condition. This will ensure even settlement of the fillings and prolongs the life of your mattress.

The manufacturing guarantee offered by Sleep Jersey, is provided in addition to the rights you have as a consumer. Your statutory rights are not affected.
